Tooling Technician
Our Client in the Sandusky OH are is looing for a Tooling Technician Shift:
Days Pay:
$25+ POSITION SCOPE:
Perform a wide variety of tooling functions requiring knowledge of manufacturing procedures, practices and standards for production tool maintenance.
SAFETY, QUALITY, & ENVIRONMENTAL OVERALL
Responsibilities:
Act in compliance with the company Health & Safety policies and procedures including any applicable legislation.
Notify the appropriate personnel of any situation or condition that may contribute to product non-conformity.
Comply with the Environmental Policy and contribute to its goals and objectives accordingly.
DUTIES /
Responsibilities:
Maintain preventative tooling maintenance programs and overall maintenance of our tooling systems and procedures.
Assist Tooling Engineer, as needed, with tooling maintenance.
Troubleshoot production and service tooling issues.
Locates and secures local tool sources for tool and spare component requirementsMaintains storage for spare components for hot runner systems.
Request quotes and issue purchase orders for local tooling repair.
Other duties or tasks as assigned or required.
