Job Description Controller Bellevue, OHIO area Depending on years of experience, salary range is up to 120K with competitive benefits Manufacturer is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting functions at their facility. The Controller will be responsible for the daily, monthly and annual accounting activities for a stable manufacturer. In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Coach, motivate and manage the individuals in the accounting department Lead the month and year-end closing process for the manufacturing site Oversight of the AP and AR processes Complete financial analysis on a regular basis Oversee the cash flow and treasury process Variance analysis of standard cost Extract data and generate reports in the ERP system Complete journal entries and reconciliation Lead physical inventory Lead the site budgeting processes Communicate with team members to establish, maintain and improve accounting processes Other duties as directed by management Candidates should be able to communicate at all levels and work in a hands-on capacity. Candidates should be approachable, energetic, structured, inquisitive, and have a high sense of urgency. Competitive benefits are available to the employee. REQUIREMENTS for the Controller:
1. A bachelor's degree is required; ideally in accounting or finance 2. At least 3-5 years in a similar lead accounting position 3. Experience overseeing others 3. Experience working with ERP systems 4. Month-end and year-end closing 5. Experience overseeing accounting project timelines 6. Strong financial analysis experience 7. Microsoft Excel Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Budget experience 2. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
